Ladybugs and a sailboat :D

This is what I made with the "extra" (small) sailboat block :)

Here's the ladybug book thong (bookmark) I made @ Nancy's house today - I got the ladybug beads and findings @ That Bead Lady in Newmarket (Ontario) - the black, red and crystal seed beads were "stash" :)  This little guy measures 13" long - it's even cuter in person than the photo shows (imnsho!) :)

  1. Oh I love both of these projects. I think lady bugs (even the real ones) are so cute.... and great way to use up that block. I need to be better about stuff like that.

  3. cute cute cute...love the ladybugs. You know that is one of the first things I had a "thing" about many years ago...ladybugs...still have a good stash of fabrics I had collected...must use them one day.

  4. And guess who is the lucky recipient of the nautically-themed quilted zipper bag :)))))

It's adorable, Sandra! (it's also fully-finished/lined on the INSIDE, too!!)

Thanks ever so much ~ (((Hugs))
