First Nadia bag :)

I'm participating in the Happy Little Pouch Hop for the next 2 weeks, so I got my butt in gear and tried a pattern I got a while ago - the Nadia bag, by IThinkSew.  I increased the size of the bag piece to 11" x 13" (instead of 10.5" X 12"), and constructed the handle a bit differently (one piece of fabric 3.5" x 8").  I would do the zipper install differently next time, and I zigzagged the seams inside instead of covering them with bias binding - the rest of the construction was pretty much as per the pattern.  It worked out quite well, IIDSSM!  A few more pics:

The Warm and Natural batting gives it just the right amount of body :)

  1. I love your pouch in the black and white fabrics. Looks so classy.

  2. Cute bag. Love the fabric. I will have to check out the pouch hop.

  3. Love LOVE the black and white fabrics! Tres chic! It's cool with the eiffel tower too :)
    Hugs and hugs,

  4. Love the black and white prints that you used for this. It looks like a fun little bag to make.

  5. It's a beauty! I love your fabric choices, too. The handle is a great idea on a bag like this.

  6. You? You're participating in the pouch hop? But you've never made a pouch in your life...

I love this one, the fabrics are LUSH!
