Pre-Christmas gift sewing :)

Here are some Christmas gifts I finished in the last few weeks of December :)

Nesting baskets - based on this tutorial.  Largest = 8"w x 5.5t x 5.5d. Smaller = 6w x 5.5t x 5.5d

Zaaberry messenger bags - 9"w x 6.5t x 3d

Earbud pouches :)

Corvette pillowcase for the neighbour's 12 year old son - his dad bought a 'vette this past summer ;)

iPad pouch for Star Trek loving neighbour :)  (fabric is from a Joanns trip last year!) - 9.5"w x 11.5"t
Puppy themed pillowcase and 8"w x 6" zipper pouch :)
Close-up of the zipper pull on the pouch :)

Shark pouch - pattern is Michelle Patterns Zip Pocket Pouch, size medium :)  Folded = 6"w x 4.5"t

I have a few more shark pouches planned so I ordered some shark charms from Ebay last week - I'll make zipper pulls when I get them, and add them to any sharky pouches :D

  1. Great Christmas gift sewing, Sandra. Love the messenger bags, lovely fabrics for them.

  2. So many wonderful gifts you made ! Congratulations !
    Best wishes for 2014 !

  3. Beautiful!!!!!!! Everything looks perfect and you actually made a couple of bags LOLLLL
I am definitely going to make some of those nesting baskets this year. The fabric you used is so pretty.
By the way I love your new look blog. It's bright and fresh and best of all I can read it without squinting now. The larger font is much better.

  4. I'm exhausted just looking at all your projects. Everything looks great, as does the new blog design.

  5. That corvette fabric is definitely cool for the corvette fans! I wish that I could find some Trans Am fabric since that's my husband's car of choice :)

  6. I don't know how I've been missing your posts, Sandra. You seem to have disappeared from my bloglovin feed. Lovely projects as usual. I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year :)

Thanks for visiting! I try to reply to all comments - if you're a No Reply blogger or using Google + I can't get your email address so please leave it (obfuscated somehow) in the message so I can write back (and snoop your blog, lol) - thank you!
