Cinnamon Rolls :)
I came across this recipe this morning, and since I had all the ingredients and I'm trying to bribe DS2 from moving out of the house for a while yet (we're not sure if he's joking or serious, but he has started to talk about moving out by the spring ... colour me rather sad!), I decided to whip them up. The original recipe calls for them to be rolled into a heart shape - yeah - right - I could barely get a log roll made because the dough kept sticking to my counter, so a roll that looks somewhat like a roll is as good as it gets :D They still look pretty good, iidssm!

ReplyDeleteYour rolls look yummy!
mm...they look good, I wonder if I will ever get to the stage where I don't want my kids to move away from home, my son (Nik) is only 6 and I am so looking forward to the day when it can be quiet in the house again :)
ReplyDeletemmmm looks very tasty...
ReplyDeleteYeah, yeah any excuse to eat some rolls LOLLLL It's different when the first one moves out because there's another left behind but when the last one goes I imagine it's a bit stressful. I still have one at home and luckily I don't have to resort to cinnamon rolls just yet LOLL
ReplyDeleteLooking awesome! I don't know how you can bake something that looks that good, makes the house smell that wonderful, and not eat them. You ARE will power, my friend. :-) I can rent you a kid if you really need one...
ReplyDeleteThese look tasty! I would be willing to move in, if it meant that someone would cook like this for me :)
