Here are a few recent finishes:
Michelle Patterns Zip Pocket Pouches - the pattern must not be available now, as I don't see it listed in her store (NAYY). I'm glad I got it ages ago - it's a great design :) |
Boxy pouches - using up fat quarters :) |
Sea turtle bibs - embellished with sea turtle fabric to use up the last bits and pieces :) |
Sea turtle stuffy - a new to me project :) I had to use the wayback machine to bring up the pattern and tutorial for this project, as it's no longer online - just call me Miss Marple :D |
Here's a closer picture of the sea turtle fabric ... and the folds, LOL. |
Picture of the quilt back - notice that the center block is patchworked from scraps :) |
Close-up of patchworked center block. |
Touch 'n Feel Little Turtle board book - ordered from Amazon.ca (NAYY). |
Posting to Celtic Thistle Stitches New to Me in September linky party ... and to the Ho Ho Ho and On We Sew linky party, also for September :)
What a brilliant set of projects you have been working on Sandra! I love the sea turtle stuffy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for supporting the Link Parties too :)
Wow, you sure we're productive this month! I really like the turtle stuffy and quilt :) cuteness overload ;)
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your productivity! Where to begin! Love all those pouches. The boxy ones are great for traveling. I think I have that other pouch pattern from when Michelle had a bunch on sale before retiring the patterns. Sets for travel would make great Xmas gifts. And that quilt and stuffy are really beautiful! Love your theme sets that always have a book, too. You are a dynamo!
ReplyDeleteWell hey girl, you HAVE been busy! And I see you're blogging even more than me *giggle* GREAT finishes, love all the turtle stuff, that stuffy turtle is so cute!
ReplyDeleteYou make the best themed presents!!! That's one awesome turtle themed present. I have never heard of the wayback machine. Will have to check that out.
ReplyDeleteA quilt to match the book? Or a book to match the quilt? Great combo of gifts either way!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of sewing, even for you. I mean, there's a whole quilt in there! Loving that cute stuffy turtle!
ReplyDeleteI thought maybe the little turtle quilt was going to be for me :) lol. Everything is so cute!
