My first attempt at a Riley Blake Tulip Petal Sun Hat - this is just the outside - I haven't done the lining yet :D I need a fun model for my kiddy stuff! |
My QAYG quilt top is now finished, so I'll be looking for backing tomorrow in Buffalo - hopefully I can get the quilt done by the end of May - fingers crossed :D
Oh, this looks very interesting. Good luck with your quilt.
ReplyDeleteCute hat! I believe you had a pretty good model for your last hat. Kind of a tall kid, big head, flirty attitude as I recall.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing you QAYG mentioned in an earlier post, I went looking to find out what that was all about. I've been watching lots of videos online--all have slightly different directions!
My fingers are crossed for your end of May finish. Have a great time at Joann's tomorrow. I was just there today with THREE coupons. What fun!
Looks a lovely design and beautiful fabric you have used.
ReplyDeleteTotally cute! But where is the zipper?
ReplyDeleteahh, so cute!!!
ReplyDeletethat's very cute...

Hi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteHey, cute little hat.
Can't wait to see it finished.
Cheers, Anita.
That sun hat looks very nice ! I found the tutorial and maybe I'll make it as a present for a little niece. With 'fingers crossed' I first thought that you 'meant fingers crossed so the sun will shine a lot' because here in Belgium the weather is not so good ;-). But then I saw you meant to finish the quilt by the end of May. Good luck with your project !
ReplyDeleteSo so so cute!!!!!!! How did your trip go??
ReplyDeleteI'm impatiently waiting to see the finished product! I'm off to find the pattern!
