Brrr! and Booo! with a side of drool and dribble :D

53" x 53" Disappearing 9 Patch quilt, done in quilt as you go method (D9P QAYG) - this is a Christmas gift - the fabrics are from the Brrr! line by Laurie Wisbrun :)

Close-up of the fabrics in this quilt :)

Here's the back of the above quilt - it's hanging upside down, as I just noticed, LOL.

Another Christmas gift D9P QAYG quilt (46" x 46"), using the other colourway of the Brrr! line :)

The back of the quilt -- I was using up scraps for the back, so 2 of the blocks are patchworked from leftovers :D  The lime green (backing blocks and cover strips) is from Joanns.
5 boy bibs using up scraps - the tutorial for the monster bibs is here :)

One last Halloween trick or treat bag - this one measures 14"w x 13.5" t x 3.5" d.  This one isn't from a specific tutorial.

  1. I haven't seen the other Brr colorway. It's pretty funky too! Well done!

  2. LOL... love the title of the post and the fun projects, Sandra. You did a wonderful job on each of them. You certainly have some great presents ready for giving!

  3. You certainly have been busy. Love your quilts and the fabrics you used. I'm sure they'll be loved and treasured. Lucky you that you've already started on the Christmas sewing.

  4. They're totally different, but I love the colours in both quilts. Wouldn't have known the first was upside down if you hadn't pointed it out.

  5. Oh I love those monster bibs! They made me LOL!!! Those quilts are AWESOME!! Your colors are perfect and so cheerful, I just know that they will be a big hit! :) Can't believe Halloween is just around the corner, gotta get motivated here too. Love the bag! Hugs, Mickie

  6. so lovely. That's a fab fabric line and your pieced backs really make them.

  7. Love the quilts, I've never seen them with backs like that. I can't wait to make a quilt one day.

  8. Aw, you've been sewing up a storm, wondered where ya been so now we know. The quilts are wonderful, your bibs made me LOL. Not too soon for a Halloween bag is it? Time to decorate!
