It was fantastic meeting up with Allie and her mom again - I think it was 2 or 3 years ago that we saw them last? We had a great time going from store to store, we had a lovely lunch at a Red Olive (great restaurant - I wish we had them here in Canada!) and our late evening ice-cream run to Cold Stone Creamery (requested by Pat, who was having a dessert craving, LOL) was a blast :) I think that the annual Daffodil Dash should now become the annual Allie and Pat and Dennis and Sandra Do Novi trip :)
I unloaded my new goodies onto my kitchen table this morning, and got a few pics to share (pix edited with Fotor) - I think there are a few items missing, but this is most of what I bought ;)
I miss you already. ..can't wait til next year! After seeing your car, I find it hard to believe that's all you got, lol....
ReplyDeleteLooks like you really stocked up! How fun! We LOVE Coldstone's as well! You made me want some :) Can't wait to see what you make with all of your new fabrics!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to go fabric shopping with Allie and her Mum. You bought a great lot of fabrics. I li9ke the look of the house basket pattern. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed visiting your purchases this afternoon. Glad you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteNice haul! What's in the plastic bags? Looks like those little stuffing pellets maybe?
ReplyDeleteOh, fun. Lots of cute kids stuff :)
ReplyDeleteOh Lucky you getting to hug Allie! Great goodies, sounds like a fun weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs and glad you are home safe!
Mickie
It's always perfect when you can meet up with friends, so fabric shopping and eat ice cream but not so perfect when you have to come home and work off that ice cream LOLLL Love all your new stuff. Have a blast making things with it.
ReplyDeleteI used to go snowmobiling in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but I never go to go fabric shopping there :( We are planning a driving trip for this summer (I'll actually be coming into Canada for a couple days) and I hope to find some fabric shops somewhere along the way!
ReplyDeletewas it really 2 or 3 years ago?? I have "known" you for several years then! How strange.. great haul, though I think you could have done better ;0)
