Post Thanksgiving ... post :D

Our entire family (hubby and I and our 2 boys) went to visit my family for Thanksgiving last weekend.  Oh MY it was wonderful - we had such a good time :) Will post some pictures in a few days - I'm busy right now trying to get some stuff done for a visit from hubby's side of the family on Sunday.

In the interim, here's one of my favourite pictures from the weekend - great nephew Lleyton (9 1/2 months old in this photo) wearing the onesie that old Aunt Sandra made him for Thanksgiving.  IS HE PERFECT OR WHAT!!!  And charming!  And contented!  And happy to be passed around - what a doll!  And if you think that hair looks red - it DOES -- in some lighting, he looks like a ginger - like MOI :)  *happy grin* :D

One little project I got done this week - a ladybug(ish) taggy based on this one - I did do a few modifications.  My trial run wasn't very nice, but the second try worked much better - I'm very happy with it :)  It's a gift for the granddaughter of friends of ours :)

  1. oooh, Leyton is such a cutie!! I want a cuddle with him! Sorry but he's overshadowed the ladybird for me... must be having a broody day!

  2. He is adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my, I could just hug and squeeze that little dear! Great shirt but his smile is the real star!!!
    Love lady bug too!
    Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. Oh, what a darling baby boy and that sure is a cute onesie.
Glad you are back, missed ya girl.

  4. Cute! Everything in this post is cute, your nephew, onesie, ladybug. I'm glad you had a good time.

  5. Leyton looks adorable in the onesie you made him.

And ladybug taggie is so cute.

  6. That is one adorable little man! That onesie looks even better one than it did in your previous pics. Have a great time visiting the other side of the family!

  7. OMG that is one adorable baby boy! Love his onesie -- what a lovely little boy. I know you had a wonderful time with your family too. That little ladybug is just beautiful. Nice job, Mrs!

  8. He's as cute as a button, Sandra! The onesie you made for him is perfect - love a guy in a tie. ;o)

The ladybug taggie is sweet and sure to please that little girl it's for. You do make the loveliest gifts you generous Ginger. ;o)

  9. What a little doll he is and I love the little lady bug. You kinda threw me talking about Thanksgiving ~ it's not till next month ~ Oh yeah, Canada ~ DUH!!!
