Take a stained and shredded vintage doily ...
cut it up and turn it into something new! I pinned this project thinking it would make a great upcycle for my small collection of old doilies - and it is :)
Hi Sandra ! Yes I went to Joann and I bought somme fabrics as two with cherries, some jean fabric because in Guadeloupe I find only dark jean. I bought less than the last time because I found that they had not too many new fabrics so I like this store. I'll try to sew and embroider during these holidays which finish at the end of august Have a good night
Thanks for visiting! I try to reply to all comments - if you're a No Reply blogger or using Google + I can't get your email address so please leave it (obfuscated somehow) in the message so I can write back (and snoop your blog, lol) - thank you!
Really pretty. You did a great job and it's nice to see you could find another use for it.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet and pretty... What a GREAT idea! Must. Try. Zippers!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love the way the zip and lining matches a colour in the embroidery.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to repurpose vintage doilies that have seen better days.
